Nearly 30 years ago, Bill Shaddock opened a one-person title business in Dallas, Texas. Since opening Dallas Title in 1987, the company has grown to be the largest independent title company in Texas.

Featuring 75 offices throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, South Texas and Beaumont metropolitan areas, Capital Title of Texas has seen immense growth and expansion over the years. In Austin alone, the company has eight offices in the metropolitan area, including Austin Northwest, Westlake, Lakeway, Round Rock, Cedar Park, San Marcos, Georgetown and Lockhart.

While Bill Shaddock still serves as the owner and CEO of Capital Title of Texas, he has brought on an ever expanding team of professionals to help support the company’s growth and mission, including Monica Middleton, Austin president; Tom Berry, senior vice president of sales; Shelley Hill, vice president of escrow; and Holly Schuler, vice president of sales.

Providing residential, commercial and lender real estate closing services, as well as reverse mortgages and REO/foreclosure services, Capital Title of Texas serves leading REALTORS, brokers, commercial developers, banks, mortgages companies and homeowners. “We provide excellence in closing services in a Texas-friendly and personal, relationship-based environment,” Shaddock says.

In addition to providing its clients and customers with a customized, responsive experience, Capital Title of Texas also offers a variety of tools and resources to enhance the lending experience. “We have the most up-to-date and advanced technology in the industry, which we offer to our clients on every closing,” Shaddock says.

Examples of their online tools and resources include informational handouts for closing time, calculators to estimate and compare closing costs and mortgage payments, local area and school information, city profiles, MCE training and more. Additionally, the company recently released the CapApp, a real estate and title mobile app.

Dedication to quality customer service is one of the reasons why Capital Title of Texas has seen such impressive growth and success. The company has been named to the Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Private Companies for the past four years

“We are blessed to have grown our company by more than 20 percent compounded every year for the last 10 years,” Shaddock says. “Our revenue is up by almost 40 percent for 2016.”

While nationally recognized, Capital Title of Texas has been able to maintain its Texas-friendly approach. “At Capital Title, we are not Wall Street; we are Main Street, Texas,” Shaddock says. “We are a family business and business family.”

Shaddock asks, “How long has it been since you have closed a deal at Capital Title? Well friend, that’s been too long. Come see us – we miss you!”  RL
